Xplorer2
Let me preface all this by saying I use Windows. I have 2 computers, use a third frequently, and they’re all Windows PC’s. They have their issues, but I like them for the most part.
I HATE Windows Explorer, the application that lets you look through files on your computer. It’s slow, glitchy, the search is bad- it’s just an awful program.
I can still deal with windows, though, thanks to a program called Xplorer2. It replaces Windows Explorer, and works infinitely better.

Xplorer2 does a lot of things really well, and is very much worth the download. Here are a few of my favorite features:
1. Two-pane view
I move files around a lot, and having two panes open to two different places makes copying and moving between them a lot easier. Xplorer2 is worth getting for this feature alone.
2. Bookmarks
Does it irritate you having to go to C, My Documents, My Pictures, 2008, Awesomeness, the other awesomeness because you’re bad at naming folders, kitties, jimmy, and so on, every time you want to get a file? With Xplorer2, just create a bookmark, and it’ll navigate to that specific spot for you every time you need it.
3. It WORKS
Xplorer2 is fast, quick, and doesn’t crap out on you, as another program does about every 11 seconds (CoughExplorerCough).
For those three reasons, and a huge number more, I truly can’t live without Xplorer2. Download the lite version free here, and thank me later.
