The Best of What's Around, #16

Posted on January 31, 2009 by David Pierce David Pierce | 2 Comments

best-week-ever1 This is where I like to point out all the blogs and articles I wish I could write.

This week’s been dominated, it seems, by rumors about the GDrive, Google’s supposed “desktop computer killer.” There’s been news everywhere, some places more substantiated than others.

If you’re looking for something else to talk about this weekend, here’s some of the best from the blogosphere this week:

ReadWriteWeb- “How to Friend Mom, Dad, and the Boss on Facebook…Safely”

Zen Habits- “Two Simple Ways to Form New Habits Without Really Trying”

Problogger- “Crawl before you walk: 6 Step-by-step Instructions for Starting your First Blog”

Digital Inspiration- “The Most Popular Twitter Acronyms”

CopyBlogger- “The Inigo Montoya Guide to 27 Commonly Misused Words”

Zen College Life- “Health Hacks: Boost Your Health With These Easy Tips”

GearCrave- “The PC Evolved: 10 Big Technologies for the Year Ahead”

I also recently discovered the plethora of funny videos about Wikipedia:

    “Professor Wikipedia”

    “BJ Novak Wikipedia Brown”

    “30 Rock: Wikipedia Prank”
