I generally use the free online latex editor available at http://www.verbosus.com which allows the creation and management of latex projects and documents directly in the browser.

Hmmm.. not that I know of, actually. And good point - the autocorrect is fantastic. I never notice, though, because I use text-expansion software that goes across the whole operating system. Texter's what I use on a PC, TextExpander on Mac. I love them both, definitely take a look!

One thing Google Docs doesn't have, which Word does, is autocorrect on the spell check. This is handy not only for correcting common spelling errors, but for creating your own spelling shortcuts. For example, if I commonly use the word 'shortcut,' and want to save a little typing effort, I can have Word automatically replace 'sc' with 'shortcut.' Does Buzzword have this kind of capability?

[...] As much as I love Windows Live Writer, I don’t always have access to my computer. When I’m blogging from the road or someone else’s computer, I use Buzzword, from Adobe. It’s a gorgeous app that lets you write, edit, and collaborate incredibly easy. I’ve even gone as far as to call it the best online word processor I’ve seen. [...]
