The Best of What's Around, #24

March 28, 2009  |  What's New Here

Post by David Pierce. Find me on Twitter.

2331-0Every week, I share what I’m reading on the bus, in the bathroom (mostly that one), and elsewhere.

Twitter, magically, continues to dominate the tech news. YouTube’s letting you tweet links to videos now, and when that happens, you know you’ve made it. Twitter’s become a legitimate communication medium, and I’ve got to say I’m still a fan (I’m @the20life, by the way). I have my issues with Twitter, but that’s the subject of another post.

So, instead of boring you with more Twitter-related news, here’s some of the best of the rest:

The New Yorker – “Shouts & Murmurs: Mouse Au Vin

Lost Coin Zen – “Zen in the Virtual Age

JetSetLife – “Leo Babauta’s 5 Best Lifestyle Design Hacks

AppleQuack – “Comparing Autofocus and GTD

Dumb Little Man – “The Power of Writing Things Down

Bre Pettis – “The Cult of Done Manifesto

Problogger – “How to Use Social Media to Land the Job of Your Dreams

TechCrunch – “Why Advertising is Failing on the Internet

Webware – “Save some cash with these 18 online coupon sites

There’s no shortage of cool stuff to read on the Web. What’ve you read and told others about this week?
