The Best of What's Around, #29

May 2, 2009  |  What's New Here

2166817992_9ff52679dd Every week, I share some blogging awesomeness.

Ever since I started using the Read it Later extension for Firefox, I’ve got a ton of useful links sitting there waiting for me to read them. Most of them never actually get read, and just sit there to taunt me by raising my unread count (which I think is directly correlated to my stress levels).

Of the ones I actually did read this week, there was no shortage of interesting stuff, covering a whole range of topics, from how to Inbox-train your coworkers to always making sure you’ve got interesting ideas to write about. Here’s a few of my favorites:

BloggingTips – “A Simple Way to Develop Writing Ideas For Your Blog

Stepcase Lifehack – “5 Reasons to Pay Good Money For a Moleskine

FreelanceSwitch – “6 Ways that Regular Writing Can Help All Freelancers

Write to Done – “The Culture of Sharing: Why Releasing Copyright Will Be the Smartest Thing You Do

Brazen Careerist – “6 Tips for being a CEO without ruining your kids’ lives. I hope.”

Smashing Magazine – “Five Reasons Why Developers are Switching to Mac

Marc and Angel Hack Life – “What Money Can’t Buy

Stepcase Lifehack – “3 People You Need to Train to Use the Inbox

TechCrunch – “Fanboys Unite: Apple Profiles Twitter

Productive Flourishing – “Are You a Dreamer, a Doer, or a Reviewer?

That ought to keep you busy for a little while. What’ve you read or written this week that struck your fancy?

Took a peek at "what money can't buy". Neither poverty nor riches, give me.
  • Thanks for the link love.

I also enjoyed reading the other articles. Great Saturday morning reading material.
