This week was terrible for my reading list. Last Thursday, I did it: I hit zero on my Web-based “to read” list. It was time to see the world, do some fun things, or… something.
Then my list started to grow again (darn you people and your being good at what you do!). It’s now at 76 articles and sites, waiting to be read. Not so bad, but it certainly gives me a few to share. Plus, now I don’t have to do any of that nasty “book” reading. Whatever that is.
Here’s some of the most interesting content from around my corner of the Web this week:
Smashing Magazine – “Optimizing Conversion Rates: It’s All About Usability”
MakeUseOf – “8 Cool Tips and Tricks to Make Most Of Google Chrome”
Lifehacker – “Lifehacker Laptop Bags: Adam Pash Edition/Kevin Purdy Edition”
GTD Times – “10 Ways to Get Started with GTD”
Problogger – “Be Consistent and Useful – Thoughts on How Often to Publish on Your Blog”
Mashable – “The Journalist’s Guide to Twitter”
Rolling Stone – “How Adam Lambert Single-Handedly Saved ‘American Idol‘”
Stepcase Lifehack – “Lessons from a Plagiarist”
I also came across a couple of phenomenal videos this week, both of which are worth sharing:
Google co-founder Larry Page at the University of Michigan
College Humor Explains Branded Content
What’ve you found this week that you liked, or more interestingly, that you hated?
