Right now, I mostly just use my browser when visiting Twitter on the desktop. 90% of my Twitter usage is actually on my iPhone, so I've kept my Following count down so that it is manageable. I did try out Seismic Desktop, and found it cumbersome, and also tried out using Digsby to integrate Twitter and Facebook. That works OK, but I still mostly use my browser. I also have a gmail gadget so that I can access Twitter from within my Google apps email account.

I remember that! Ridiculous what some people think is okay to do to users. What do you use on the desktop for Twitter? I love TweetDeck, just because it syncs my columns with the desktop client.

I agree completely, actually. I've used them all, and the only ones that stayed installed on my particular iPhone were Tweetie and TweetDeck. Love 'em both.
