Did You Read?

I love this video, and it’s spectacularly (and sadly) true in my own life. There are hundreds of things in my queue to read right now, and I’ve read hundreds more just in the last few days. Except to say “yeah, I read that,” I can’t tell you anything about them.

We all do it, don’t we? We read, and read, and read, because there’sjustsomuchoutthere and ohmygoshIhavetoreadeverything, but what’s the point? Maybe reading a lot less would actually make me learn more.
