Welcome to Digitizd! We’re still not a very old community here, but we’re a growing one, and the content is quickly outgrowing the time you have. To keep you from having to dig through archives until you’re blue in the face, I’ve compiled this brief Beginner’s Guide. This will hopefully provide a easy way for you to get started with this site, and to help you find your way around.

The best place to start is with this post: How To Interact with Digitizd. It’s a look into how to get involved, how we can help each other, and how this whole crazy process works. This blog doesn’t work without you!

For the new visitor to Digitizd, there’s a rapidly growing number of posts to wade through. Let’s start with the most popular posts among the several hundred that exist on this blog (Note: this will change periodically, so keep coming back!)

Also, there are a number of series I’ve been writing over the last several months, based on topics that merit more than one visit. There are some ongoing, some upcoming, and some that I should probably write, but haven’t thought of.

Here are the various series that have made their way into Digitizd:

The Best of What’s Around A weekly roundup of some of the best content the blogosphere has to offer. There are many blogs and bloggers out there who do great work, and I try to point out some of the best every week.
Sunday Tips Once a week, I look at a particular aspect of your computer experience, and give a few tips about how to do it- better, easier, and more efficient.

The blog is growing rapidly, and seems to be ever-evolving. I’ll be updating this page with more information about Digitizd, me, and our community here- for now, though, this should be enough to get your feet wet here!
