There’s this awesome thing out there called RSS, that syndicates every post written on this blog, and will push it to you via a variety of different methods. For FREE!

What does that mean? It means that when there’s an update on Digitizd, you’ll get it automatically. You don’t have to constantly come back to the site looking for new content (though feel free to still do so), because it all gets pushed to you whenever there’s an update.

For now, there are four ways to follow updates to Digitizd:

rss-basic-webtreatsetc RSS

RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, means that you can read updates from this blog, most websites, and all sorts of other things, in a reader of your choice – Google Reader, NewsGator, and an infinite number of other readers. New posts all get pushed into one place, where you can read them en masse, and create your own, personal news source.

So maybe you’re not an RSS fan. Do you use email? Of course you do. You can still subscribe to Digitizd, and have every new post come into your email inbox for your reading pleasure.

In addition to all the other stuff I do on Twitter, I post every new blog post there as well. It’s a neat way to interact with people, as well as to follow some of my on favorite blogs. A lot of people say Twitter is replacing RSS, and I’m not sure I agree, but it’s definitely a great way to follow both me and Digitizd.

friendfeed-webtreatsetcFriendFeed

FriendFeed is a relatively complete lifestreaming service, where you can follow all sorts of things of mine – various different blogs, shared items from Google Reader, Twitter posts, and more. Truth be told, I don’t spend much time on Friendfeed, but it’s a neat way to see what I’m up to, and share items and ideas back with me.
